“For the past five years, my students have been participating in Junior Achievement’s Finance Park curriculum. The growth I have seen in my students with their knowledge of finance, credit, budgeting, saving and spending has been overwhelming. By participating in hands-on activities and real life experiences, students are able to see the benefits of being responsible with their money for the future. So many students realize the importance of creating a budget in order to fulfill their needs and wants as they enter the later stages in life - college, working part-time and finally getting their “dream job”. Parents have also come to me and thanked me for teaching real-life skills to their children that they will use in their future. My students have thanked me as well for the opportunity to participate in Finance Park.
