24th ANNUAL CHIPPING IN “FORE” KIDS GOLF CLASSIC

August 12, 2024

The Annual Junior Achievement Chipping in FORE Kids Golf Classic, presented by Amerisure, raises awareness for Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan (JASEM) as well as significant funding so that JASEM may continue to serve students throughout our region. Junior Achievement’s programs focus on Financial Literacy, Work-Readiness, and Entrepreneurship.

Oakland University is home to two world-class golf courses on the beautifully wooded campus in Rochester: The R&S Sharf Golf Course and the Katke-Cousins Golf Course.

All golfers receive a generous gift bag, lunch and dinner.

Oakland University has been awarded the distinguished honor to host the Michigan Open with the PGA in 2023 and 2024. Because of this opportunity, Amerisure and Junior Achievement have moved the event from its traditional June timeframe to August. We are delighted that the PGA recognizes the beauty and challenge of Oakland University Golf Courses and we appreciate the flexibility of Amerisure and the sponsoring organizations. - Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan.
